U17s were spotty (I heard the coach was god awful which has a lot to do with it so can’t completely fault the players)

...but the Revs U19s ran circles around Bolts and Seacoast.
Their starting 11 was unbelievable. Again don’t get me wrong - there are exceptions- two or three Bolts players and one or two Seacoast players. But by and large Revs players were at a higher level.
Where did their starting 11 go to college?

I was responding to the poster who said Revs academy players are not better soccer players than Bolts and Seacoast players.

And I’m only asking because this is a 2019 Commitments topic.

            By the thread OP's criteria:

Prince Loney-Bailey, Revs, Cambridge, James Madison - subbing a lot
Andrew White, Revs, Boxborough, Lehigh - starting 50%> or more
Josh Machado, Revs, Somerville, UML - red shirt
Gustavo Cassemiro, Revs, Framingham, Framingham St. - starting 50% or more

The player the Revs tried to claim at UNC hasn't played yet but he's a freshman GK.

PLB did not play for the revs last year. JM and GC were not in the starting 11. AW started most of the time.

Those were all the Revs 2019 commits, all 4 of them.

This has nothing to do with soccer quality and everything to do with grades/test scores.

Which is why coaches have stopped scouting Revs games.

This is absolutely not true. Why are you spreading lies? There are many Revs players who are college worthy and are good players. That year’s class was an exception. The current u17s and u19s have better grades and scores overall.

And yet their 2020 college commitments are already lagging well behind NEFC and GPS.

Any NEFC and gPs commits to Georgetown, Cornell and other D1s ? D3 don’t really count in my book.

Multiple 2020 d1 commits from both clubs.

No Revs parent knows this or should know this. More reasons to stay away from Foxboro
