Great school. Soccer program is currently at the bottom of the Patriot league. Their leading goal scorer just left. If they finish at the bottom of the league again then my guess is that they will make a coaching change.

Bates has an extraordinary number of recruits -- even more so when you see the complete list including kids not in Massachusetts. I wonder what's up there? Does the coach have *that* many slots? Will all the kids end up on the team in the end?

There is more turnover to these rosters than I realized prior to my son attending college. The coach is new at Bates (2nd season) so he may be making a push to bring in "his guys".

Bates is not that easy to get into. Does this mean Bates has 18 spots for the coach to help with admissions? Or did he tell 12 if they got in on their own they are on the team? Or, did some players misunderstand and actually they don't have a spot on the team? I have a 2021 and I'm trying to understand d3 recruiting.
