Nope. Based on D1 commits, this is actually normal compared to recent years. Last year was an anomaly- there was a significantly higher number of D1 commits. However 2019 is very similar to 2017 and 2016.

The percentage of those who play a lot is what matters IMO.

OP here. I would personally prefer to see 15-20 D1 Commits where a large majority end up playing versus 40+ D1 Commits where the majority sit or quit. A class's strength is assessed after several seasons with their teams, not now.

Kudos, also. Compiling all the stats provides a lot of insights. Not getting into games has got to be a first-time experience for many of the kids (ha, and their parents). Something tells me the kids will adjust much more easily than the parents.
