It’s the future that will send you over the edge. I’m sorry you overpay for what the best players get for free.

Funny how many kids wind up at the same schools as Revs players but they don't have to suffer under Revs coaching or give up HS.

Some Revs players don’t need to give up high school. Revs parents save enough to pay for those same colleges by not spending money on soccer. Now that’s funny, just not to you.

I see maybe 3 schools on that list that local players go to. What is this “how many kids” you speak of?

Only private school ECNL & NPL kids go on to play at decent schools. Public school players end up at local schools that fall in the bottom 200 academically.

Again. It was a decent year for Revs college recruiting, but please stop it with the ridiculous inflation of the record. Penn player was from GPS--committed to Penn long before he joined Revs for this spring (and then spring was cancelled so he never played for Revs). Same is true for the BC player--from Bolts/GPS, and committed before he ever joined Revs. List the real ones--why add ones that are bogus?

For 2020s, the best overall college recruiting classes were clearly out of Bolts/GPS/NEFC. Revs had several good placements this year, but that's it.

No talking about non club players, but Revs vs other club players. Almost no one gets recruited without some kind of club experience, but other leagues allow you to do both and still get recruited too.

They did that with another player last year, recruited well before he joined the Revs for a few months.

High school isn't even a consideration for the better players. They have no desire to play.

Since there aren't a lot of "better players" that's about right. DA traps thousands who would like to play and only care about playing in college.

It's the people on the outside looking in that use words like "trap."

BS. My D plays ECNL amd HS and is tracking to play in college. She wouldn’t give up HS, it’s been just as important for her as club, just in different ways. All you parents of boys are brainwashed. DA was junk as is US Soccer. There is a reason why in the years since DA was started, the US Men’s has dropped considerably. Those that perform at the highest levels left the US to play in Europe. Girls didn’t have DA, but ECNL and are arguable still the top of pack globally.

Keep believing the hype. Your kid will look back and hate you for pushing the BS when he could have gotten to the same place and played with his friends in HS for his community.

Girls need the social aspect more than boys. That's why parents of girls love to talk about high school soccer. Some players are motivated by more than acceptance at high school.
