As soon as you sign on the dotted line with the Revs Academy they own your kid’s MLS rights. That means your child, if signed, will be stuck playing for what is historically one of the cheapest organizations in the MLS. When coupled with the fact that the Revs operate in a region with some of the highest cost of living expenses in the country a very bleak picture begins to emerge. Miles Robinson is a local player that escaped the Revs’ clutches. He’s down in Atlanta making $200,000+ and living like a king. Several Seacoast standouts have relocated to Seattle to escape the Revs. If you REALLY believe your son has a shot at being a professional you need to find a way to bypass the Revs.
