Have you ever thought of it this way: if Kraft sunk serious $ into a paid residency program, then he would be attracting talent from all over the world. Probably none of the local MA boys would have a shot at even being on the Academy team. You would have nothing to complain about.
That’s exactly what they should do. My kid would love it.

My kids would have the time of their lives too if they were on an extended vacation at Fantasy Island.

Nope, your kids will never take a chance at anything. Hence why they will end up a job they hate, be in a loveless marriage and become bar-flies in some dive bar talking how he played on the A team for this Bolts team that lost in the state finals to NEFC.

If my kids had a chance to chase a dream, go all in. If they come up short, so be it. They swang for the fences. CARLTON FISK BABY!!!

After YOU swang for the fences he'll end up in a job he hates, be in a loveless marriage and become a bar-fly in some dive bar talking how he played on the C team in Europe because his parents ripped him out of high school and stole his teen years.

Massachusetts doesn't produce international talent. We don't even produce NT players. We produce smart college players.

                  Stay in your lane bro'.

U15 NT call ups = ZERO kids from New England. Except SEACOAST developed kid who was smart to leave for the west coast and not waste away at the MLS club in his backyard.

When you apply to college and one of your "life experiences" is moving to Europe to play soccer, but you're not being recruited and can't make the soccer team, isn't the most flattering EC.

Can't make a college soccer team? Are you kidding? Do you have a clue? College coaches LOVE European trained players and even BETTER if they are AMERICAN!! So, yes players training abroad ARE being RECRUITED and will not only make a college team, they will be starters from the get go. FACT.

Is there a Massachusetts player that has done this?

Revs academy GK Austin Aviza went to Syracuse, started freshman year, along the way replaced by a German and he sat the bench until he transferred to UConn.
