Stop swallowing what they're sliding into your mouth.

I personally know 5 players that turned down the Revs.

The players the Revs choose generally don't work out well. There are years of accumulated data on this. There are 1200+ pages on this thread about it. The only thing they are worse at than scouting is developing players.

Enjoy suiting up in your Revs gear for your kid's matches.

Eventually you'll realize what a mistake you've made but I'm sure you're not man enough to come back on here and admit it.

    Good luck.
For being a very competitive group of kids I have noticed the kids like each other. The parents on the other hand are not very friendly. I think it may have to do more with parents expectations and getting used to the idea that your kid is competing for his spot on the team every second of practice and games .At our old club we knew he was the best and there wasn't much competition but I didn't think he was good enough to make the Revs.
Maybe some kids just don't like that sort of pressure.

If we get dropped then I will come back here and tell all that I know . Promise ;-)

My kid is at the Revs and it is clear that the coaching sucks. The players are the best group in this area, so practice is intense. That is probably more important for development.

Please give examples how the coaching sucks. And define best group. Enough with the Trumpisms.

For sure some of the parents are NUTS. They're more worried about their kids' careers and possibly getting cut than the kids are.

There is little to no fitness and conditioning work, the coaches are so low energy, appearing asleep at the wheel, tactics are crude, very little individual feedback, zero motivational skills resulting in no team spirit.
Best group means as a whole they are better soccer players than any other club in the area.

                1. Fitness and conditioning work. Assuming REVS train 4 times a week at 2 hours per, 8 hours of soccer. If you ans your son think that is enough of fitness and conditioning and not doing anything away from the team, well expect a pink slip in a few years.

                2. Coaches I can not comment because I dont have a child there or witness any games or practices.

                3. Agree team spirit must start at the top. But what has your son done to bring the team together?

                4. Best group you must be referring to U13 that did well in the fall. Or u18/19 that beat both Bolts and Seacoast in the fall. If u13, winning is great, but that age, a majority of the time, a team may have 1-2 players that are more athletic than other players/ teams. But are are really better. If u18/19 then if those boys/men need coaching then well, good luck to them.

U19 families are now realizing the connections to top D1 programs just aren't there.

They don't train 4 days a week, despite DA regs. That right there tells you plenty about the organization. You really need to be there to see what a mess it is. So until you are I suggest you keep your comments to yourself. Why are you on this thread to begin with if you're not with the club and have never seen them play?

If they haven't figured that out before now they should deemed "slow adults."

2 days a week would be better for development.

Like someone said, families use the dollars they save with the Revs on private training on the off days.

This may be the most damning commentary there is.
