Each MLS club has it's own team of 18-20 players with some kind of balancing for age. It's just an idea in my head that I thought makes some sense for the clubs. They get almost nothing out of BDA but spend a great deal. Clearly clubs like the Revs wish they were never involved at all. If they then could get better $ from those they developed (like international clubs do) they would have a huge incentive to develop talent that they could later profit off of if they don't keep them. MLS clubs now have to train around 100 kids and almost none will ever be pro material.

And of course the MLS teams want players who trained in Europe. Not the crap developed by US. So it’s a total waste.

Go Watch the U13 Revs and you will not be disappointed . Best players in all of New England on that team. Hands Down!!

We do have some of the best players but there are a few that shouldn’t be on the team, better players elsewhere. The forwards speed has carried them through some of the tougher games. Over the next few years as all the boys mature things will change, as with all teams.

3 real forwards and all three different styles.One fast tall forward with speed and exosive power. The other ex bolt player who is not fast but more target player like . The smaller forward is the best skilled player on the team.

The Revs get the best players then grind them down. It takes a couple of years to make them truly cr*p.

To many people jobs on the line so winning becomes about who is bigger an faster at 11v11 . This is why at younger ages when skill and creativity wins you games they find the talent and then clubs kill it.

11v11 is talent killer.
Perfect example is a some really skilled kids on Seacoast and Bolts U13 team who have great skill but are not big enough to use their skills at 11v11 and be successful . They start to doubt themselves and they don't develop like they did at the younger ages.

Could it be they had great head down dribbling skills but could never really pass? Kickball was mistaken by parents as passing. Ball hog dribblers look great at U-little but are exposed as they get older and the game changes.
