And the kid who replaced my kid has ties to the front office. A quick Facebook check of his dad has several revs organization ties. He won’t last the year but if he does that’s why.

In relying so heavily on clubs to identify (in player selection) and train talent, USSF leaves the system vulnerable to politics and nepotism. I don't think it's rampant, but it definitely is out there. Poking around on other boards there certainly are complaints about a few NY clubs including Reyna's kids. There will always be people who don't think a kid is deserving if a parent is involved in an organization.

Then there's the glaring issue of relying on clubs to train high potential kids. Revs coaching is a prime example of why you don't want that.
