I coach at an ISL school, and I think what we offer is a great overall experience. I totally understand that each child is unique, and I didn’t mean to offend.

No one has that kind of wherewithal. The Revs refuse to admit there's lots of parents who are dissatisfied with their kids experiences, even if they're still there.

Obviously everything here is taken with a grain of salt but I've learned a lot on here and people often post interesting articles and such. Also like the guy who was tracking the college commitments. That was cool.

And it's often times entertaining......

Sore Loser Parent (SLP) started this thread bc she's a hyper, type A, and uber competitive

And if your kid is playing at the Revs the parents have one if not all of these traits. Hence the 11,000 posts. Just venting about the sub par everything and irritated about lost opportunity. Here's a great article on what everyone wishes the Revs would do.....but as Wahl points out - The Krafts are some of the least ambitious owners in the league......

It bears repeating. It also is pretty calm, not that of a supposed raving lunatic parent. The thread started just over TWO years ago. What has changed in all that time? NOTHING.

Things aren't going as well as they should be. We're not winning very winnable games. It's time to shake things up and it's imperative that we practice more. There are talented players who aren't being given a chance. Try being more creative. There's so much hidden potential that you're not tapping into.

I think the reason there are over 1000 pages of posts is this frustration. It’s not about my kid getting cut or my kid not making it they tryouts. It’s that there are 6 states to pull players from. Hundreds of thousands of kids are playing soccer. The odds of even one of those kids going pro is legitimately small but there should be a structure in place with facilities, good coaching, and a true development environment to support it. A MLS branded US soccer club should do that.
But instead we have bare minimum practice, unqualified coaches (the U13 coach never coached a team before last year, charris isn’t licensed and has no experience Othman than being Gary Halls flunkie, Scales shouldn’t be coaching the 15s, older coaches have no proven track record), No workout facilities, no grass fields, and an ancient field house. It could be so much more (as could the first team). We are clearly dedicated, lunatic parents willing to drive, willing to pay, and that’s what makes us angry & frustrated. 2 years after this thread started and there’s been huge player turn over & multiple coach turn over. And nothing has changed.

He never coached before he came to revs in feb other than a high school team until 2013.

He did scouting reports at IMG academy.
