My son was asked to try out for the Revs. He was very excited because its the Revs. After a couple of trips down 128 during the evening commute he was all set (we live on the north shore). So yes...parents AND kids do say no to the Revs. But it may be for different reasons for one kid, or parent, versus another. Personally I wasn't impressed by the Revs versus any other club...and I have two 'club age' boys and have been part of multiple clubs for multiple reasons over the past 7 years.

You aren't going to get dramatically better coaching at the Revs then you are at the Bolts or GPS (and yes there are very good coaches and very bad coaches at all clubs...I just think the bigger clubs have less bad coaches than smaller clubs...personal opinion).
