Tough loss today. NYC is a real academy.

2 wins and 2 losses vs NYCFC yesterday. Does that mean Revs is a real academy too?

Actually 1 win and 1 loss in the GA Cup. The other younger teams played NYSC.

          Business as usual. No Revs.

It would be delightful if the U17’s got into the top division of the GA Cup. 😈

The priorities are clear in Flopsboro.

Missed the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row.

Spending $35,000,000 to get the Revolution out of the Pats offices and hidden in the woods so they don't need to trip over their underperforming carcasses every day.

The facility looks great. I love the honest rendering that shows all the rich families driving German sports cars to the academy facility. Maybe that's why their homegrown program is so terrible.

I was told that developing home-grown players is all they care about. Not making playoffs, not about the scores in a game etc.. Its all about finding the next home-grown player. This is why they won't take prep or public HS players in the spring -because it hurts the chemistry of the team and won't help develop the next home-grown player(s). I don't believe this logic makes sense but whatever. It's a private club. it's their business.

Totally true, they don’t care about 99.5% of their players. If your son isn’t the chosen one than they’re just using him to suck in players to their pay for play RDS programs. It’s a business. Not a youth developer.
What exactly do they get from developing a homegrown? A savings of $65,000 they don’t need to shell out to some other club? This isn’t the epl, they’re not getting millions for selling star players or making transfers.

What is this "chosen one" and why should they care about players at all? Asking for a friend.

If you have to ask. . .

And of course they should care about their players. They’re teenage boys, who in their own words the Revs said “we are committed to developing. We will give them a year and it’s up to them to prove they deserve to be here”. There’s no feedback, no coaching, no developing.

I'm confused. Is the chosen one the kid who plays the best? They're so bias!

I know, right. The kids just chat and crack jokes for 1.5 hours, trashing the coaches while the coaches smoke and drink and don't give any direction. Poor little victims. Someone should complain on TS. That'll solve the kids lack of motivation for sure.

If that's all they care about and want to focus on, they don't have much to show for their efforts
