This may be true for the very young players but the older (U19) players who have already played DA for years, and are now with some of the top prep (ISL/NEPSAC) soccer schools have excellent habits. Most of them are already recruited by top D1 schools. Transition is easy for them (plus being super smart and adaptable helps with that too). Revs are losing out on these players who can help them make the playoffs. One or two of these players could turn pro and Revs risk losing the home grown contract advantage.

Are they? They sure don't act like it. They should be crushing it in the NE and they're not. They can't recruit/keep talent, they can't develop, they put the minimal effort in to keep the program running only because they have to.

The previous poster agreed with you. There are way more D1 programs than DA clubs so there will be many non-DA players on all rosters.

I never said the poster didn�t agree. That was merely a post to preempt know nothing DA parents from replying to the topic about high school players on low level D1. The top D1 teams in the nation roster non-DA players. I want to make sure that resonates with parents. If your son is truly talented, but more importantly, has the inner drive to excel, he�ll rise to the top and be in the mix. The Revs aren�t the answer. The Revs are an unreliable short cut for parents with self image disorders.
