Yes the Revs awful at scouting, picking and developing talent. The difference with the Revs is developing multi-position skills is purely accidental, not intended
True, but are the Revs actually moving kids around to develop at different positions throughout the year, or are they pigeon-holing kids in their “unnatural” position? I don’t have a kid on the team, so just wondering.

The D word isn't relevant in Foxborough.

They pigeon-hole kids on the bench, lots of them.

Not even close to what Bolts do! The start percentage rule doesn’t even register for them.

It varies, some kids develop in multiple positions and some are specialized in a single position. The Revs coaches are good at using their judgement on an individual basis. Their focus is on the long-term development of the top players, so others may be bumped to a position not to their liking. At this level soccer is an uncompromising game.

              Signed: Revs Management
You left that part out. Any development by Revs coaches is accidental happenstance

GPS is at the Revs level. They seem to develop players.

Yes my kid was cut and yes I'm bitter about it now but he'll be much happier in the long run. He's headed for ISL anyway, using the Revs just as much as they were using him. Nobody is going pro from this program. Nobody. That is clearly proven. So he might as well get a good education.

Most of his teammates will be lucky to still be playing by college so why miss out on school and social life now? Look at those poor 17s, lost how many games all year? 30? Then had to go to the GA cup and lose a bunch more. And missed school, finals, graduations, etc just to sit in some cheap crap hotel and get outplayed by academies that actually invest and care about their players. Revs are a joke. A waste. Zero development. Zero qualified coaches.

I am glad that your kids failure has made you so bitter. And you thought he was going to succeed at soccer? It was never on the cards. Now go away.

Delightful folks at the Revs too. They'll defend them, until they finally realize Revs training blows and their kid gets cut too or wants to get out of dodge too. There's a reason this thread has gone on for so long, and there were similar threads before this one.

Poster speaks the truth. Deal with it. Revs suck.

Two college buddies are high level college coaches locally. The things they have to say about the Revs are not positive.
