    It's in the job description.

Look at the Revs 2002 birth year.

How many 2002 players have played for the Revs over the years?

This is an age group on the cusp of their prime recruiting years. They only have 7 2002's.

Of those 7, only one has been with the program for 3 years. There are 3 that joined the team last year.

What does that tell you about this program?

Here are some of the initials of the 2002 players they failed to develop over the last 3 seasons:

    BV
    KW
    SZ
    KB
    LC-S
    GP
    MB
    AC
    LF
    MH
    AJ
    MJ
    WK-C
    DM
    CO
    TO
    HS
    TS
    CB
    LB
    JC
    SD
    JF
    BM
    DS

Remember, only ONE 2002 player remains that played with those listed above.

It's a head scratcher. Why do they feel the need to turn things over so much rather than investing in their players?
That is a disgrace. The 03’s are starting on the same path.

Welcome to the fast lane, folks. The job of DAP is to find MNT players. Once they figure your son isn’t that, they beat the bushes looking for more. You get your shot, but then it’s over. Beware of D1 college too. They put you in (if you are fortunate), then you get your shot. If you or the team aren’t clicking, they dump the batch and start over. Look at the number of new recruits arriving at some local colleges this season. House cleaning time. Find the level of soccer that works for you. No regrets.

The Revs focus is finding home grown players. It leads to the same behavior though.

And they haven't done much in that department either. I think NYCFC has had more and they're a newer club.

DF, SC, and ZH are examples. NYC area is just plain better for talent.

Because they can't coach. Literally. Garbage. So it's easier to blame the players "oh, no talent here" and get a new round in every season (or every 3 months like the 02s). Zero investment in the players, the talent is there but with barely 3 practices a week nobody is going to develop. And so off the boys go to other clubs, HS, or they quit altogether.

Which is sad but that's what happens when it's purely a business and not what's best for the players. Crazy stalker dude with the list of initials is right. Revs are clearly not committed to developing anyone long term. Obvs. Their track record speaks for itself.

How many training sessions have you watched? Zero because they are closed to parents.

Results on the field speak volumes. Players actually regress. How does that happen?

Also, if the Revs had nothing to hide they wouldn't care if parents were there or not

Haven’t you learned that 99% of the posts on this thread are not from Revs parents yet?

Fellas your penis is not any smaller because your kid didn't make the Revs. Your wallet may take a hit but that is life. Move on and enjoy your second tier experience in NPL or ECNL.

Now that's a Revs parent. Tool. When his kid goes to Conn. College and rides the bench he'll figure it out.

                          Fixed it for you.

Some very well informed parents here.

Maybe, just maybe, our team would play better if the coaches wouldn’t release so many players and would stop playing our best players out of their natural positions.

"natural positions"? Clearly you don't like that your kid isn't playing his "natural position" Pigeon holing isn't how you develop players especially at the younger ages. Coaches love versatile players. You also limit your opportunities if you are changing teams or trying to be recruited if you only want to play one position. Yes the Revs awful at scouting, picking and developing talent. The difference with the Revs is developing multi-position skills is purely accidental, not intended

Why play kids up that aren't the best in their age group?
