Originally posted by Unregistered View PostWelcome to the fast lane, folks. The job of DAP is to find MNT players. Once they figure your son isn’t that, they beat the bushes looking for more. You get your shot, but then it’s over. Beware of D1 college too. They put you in (if you are fortunate), then you get your shot. If you or the team aren’t clicking, they dump the batch and start over. Look at the number of new recruits arriving at some local colleges this season. House cleaning time. Find the level of soccer that works for you. No regrets.

It's a head scratcher. Why do they feel the need to turn things over so much rather than investing in their players?
Which is sad but that's what happens when it's purely a business and not what's best for the players. Crazy stalker dude with the list of initials is right. Revs are clearly not committed to developing anyone long term. Obvs. Their track record speaks for itself.

Zero investment in the players, the talent is there but with barely 3 practices a week nobody is going to develop. And so off the boys go to other clubs, HS, or they quit altogether.

Also, if the Revs had nothing to hide they wouldn't care if parents were there or not

Maybe, just maybe, our team would play better if the coaches wouldn’t release so many players and would stop playing our best players out of their natural positions.

You also limit your opportunities if you are changing teams or trying to be recruited if you only want to play one position. Yes the Revs awful at scouting, picking and developing talent. The difference with the Revs is developing multi-position skills is purely accidental, not intended
