Seriously? Aside from BC and the obvious NEFC connection, these are lower tier D1 and these boys will be collecting splinters. And you are not the parent of any of these kids, the "my kid plays NPL and will play Div 1" quota was exceeded months ago.

No Revs on the new U17 USMNT camp roster.

It looks like the NT pipeline has been officially shut off.

The rest of the country finally caught up to what the the soccer community here already knows.

I'm sure that 0-11 record in the Generation Adidas Cup, posting a -37 goal differential, woke everyone else up to the truth about the soccer black hole in Foxboro.

the guy who tracks commitments every year will show one way or another with his annual fall analysis. Many frosh don't play at all and aren't even around year 2 - including plenty of DA players. After year 2 more players are gone, including DA. If you haven't targeted the soccer program well that's more likely to happen. Plenty of DA players don't target well. But a quality education will always be there.

These boys are playing soccer because they love the game. Who gives a crap what college they are playing for. There is great soccer in NE and some great college Div. 1 teams. All these kids are taking a huge commitment to play Div. 1 soccer and get an education. It's not an easy task.

This thread is The Revs Academy needs to make some changes, not my kid is better than your kid because he plays on this team. Each kid is different and the will get what they put into soccer, regardless of where they are at. Not all situations, teams, coaches, and leagues are the same. Finding the one that bests suits you is the hardest part. DAP is great and has its advantages, as do other leagues and coaches. You can be in the best league but have sub-par coaching or the other way around.

A very small percentage will play soccer beyond college. Enjoy playing why you can because it goes fast.

              Stick to the thread topic.....OMFG!!!!

Amen! The Revs don't care if their players go on to college. They only care about the few players capable of perhaps making the first team one day. They treat everyone else like the practice dummies they are.

And they haven't even done well with the home growns either.

On a brighter note, the U-15s finished fourth in the Northeast Division after going 15-8-5. Their breakout players were striker Andrew Serafino (East Longmeadow, Mass.) and Hikaru Fujiwara (Lexington, Mass.), who respectively finished with 19 and 11 goals. Cole Dewhurst (Lancaster, Mass.), the son of FC Stars’ director Jason Dewhurst, was a rock in defense, starting 28 games.

                    Oohhhhhh now I get it

Barcelona just lost to Roma. Does that make them pitiful?

                          ICC soccer? C'mon man!

The only MLS DA program for 200 miles that can pull from all of New England and they lose to a pay to play DA program. Sad. Sad. Sad.

Nice write-up in NESJ. The golden team. Would have loved to see the parents' faces when they lost to the Dolts.

This thread it great. It's like a Revs time capsule. I popped back 100 pages and found the scores from the Revs v Bolts weekend.

What the hell is wrong with the Revs? They're free and have the backing of an original MLS organization. Why can't they perform better against local competition? Why aren't they turning out National Team players? The plate is set for them. Is it the coaching?
