I can't understand why people are so enamoured with these rankings. They seem pretty nebulous. They obviously skew towards DA almost exclusively. I can't find anything on their site that delineates methodology. People need to take a step back and relax. It's not the end of the world if your kid doesn't have "stars."

!00% true. Stars mean jack. Have seen tons of kids with no stars (though they should) and they have gotten div. commitments. All you have to do is look the commitments across the country. I have seen kids I know get US training invites and other more deserving ones do not get them. No, I'm not bitter my son was one of the invites and does not have the coveted top drawer soccer stars. He is playing Div. 1. College coaches know they deal about the stars, so don't worry. Take a breath people. Once coaches see your kid play he will know right away if they are interested or not.
