Random? They are supposedly the best soccer players in the area. I would ask you, or anyone to recollect a particular sequence in the game that was memorable. (Bolts had a one man advantage most of the game and still could do nothing). I mostly get angry with US soccer as I would like to see it grow. But I now know why Umass Lowell has so many international players. There wasn't a player on the field Sat. that could play for Lowell.

As far as your innuendo goes, I would seriously consider counseling as your post is classic projection.

They've had them before. Getting serious minutes on the field is a whole nother story. And I was talking about the 17s. I would guess you are talking about somebody from the 19's. Just my take. You folks should be thanking me for the advice. Get your kids off of those teams and get them some private skill training otherwise once they get to college they just going to be riding the bench.

You clearly don’t understand the level of play you are watching. At least 4 at or close to NT level on those 2 teams. Is Lowell a great place to live? Sounds like not much to do at the weekend.

Another poster. In any given season less than a handful of MA players will commit to then actually play a lot for top college D1 teams. Even less will get serious consideration for the pros or NT. Spreading that across two or more DA clubs plus top privates means 90+% of the kids you are watching on any given MA DA game are just filling the field for those kids. The $$ you spend, the National travel that takes time away from studies, and the restrictions around playing for HS teams are all excessive. But there are plenty of helicopter parents willing to do it anyway. So here you are. Don’t worry, be happy.

Yeah, my kid is friends with the local kids he grew up with and played multiple HS sports with as well as the ones he played D1 College Soccer with. He has 0 friends from those he played club soccer with.
