Not so fast, NYCFC missing 3 key players that are in Spain with the U17 National Team.
But I get Revs parents hanging on to small accomplishments. Anything really.

Reyna plays on NYCFC u19s though. Clean sweep with him, Revs are bottom tier obviously.

                  Homegrown Player Rule-MLS

To place a player on its homegrown player list, making him eligible to sign as a homegrown player, players must have resided in that club's home territory and participated in the club's youth development system for at least one year, as well as meeting other unspecified league requirements.[5]

If a player on a team's homegrown list goes to college or U17, U20, and U23 United States men's national soccer teams, he remains eligible to sign as a homegrown player at any time as long as he is registered with the club as a homegrown player first.

To the former Revs Academy players, you are Fvcked!! That's why they don't give HS waivers, and they don't mind the player turnover. One year is all they aim for, be careful guys!
(and parents). Scales have a hold on everyone that comes through that trainwreck of an academy.

Okay, that explains why defender Mitch Taintor of Toronto FC is not a Revs player. He played for the Revs Academy prior to 2008, (when the HG rule was put in place). Connecticut kid who scored last night for Toronto.

A decent attorney will release you of all that BS. Who the F wants to be owned by the New England Revolution?

Jasson and Scally too. Revs U19's won against a very undermanned team from a skill perspective. But hey, Revs parents rejoice, future looks soooo bright.

For years the Revs had players with the National Team, no one seemed to mind that. They won against a very good team since they played as a team. (and they played at night after a long bus ride).

And of course you will same the same about the Bolts when they beat these amazing MLS boys, right? Botton of the ladder MLS and below average DAP.

1 year, that's all they need. Nice position to be in right? The MO? Get all the somewhat decent players into the system for a year then sit back and see how they develop in college or wherever. They by-pass the MLS Draft and land to the Revs.

Great development model. Can't think of an easier job for the Youth Director.
