Tough to vet Charris with his murky South American resume. Too fat have played the game, and too stupid.

That man looks like he has Revs academy PTSD. Have you ever had a conversation with him? Not the most eloquent and seems dazed. Suffering from the Scales Syndrome. He needs meds asap.

Yes, cutting kids midseason is as mean spirited as firing McCabe two days before retirement. There may or may not have been cause, but the kids gave up high sports to train for a full year. McCabe dedicated 20 years to enforcing US laws.

With no poor game results to talk about the trolls have spiraled down into puerile name calling. Don’t feed them. Just ignore if possible.

He was born Jan 2002! Chuck Blazer sanctioned this fraud.

The Revs have a player who plays down. It is allowed one per team.

Actually, I think each team is allowed two players from the age group above. The person complaining about this should realize that '03s across the country are playing high school soccer (or will be next year) and if they are good enough to make varsity, they'll probably be up against teams with keepers a year or more older. The same will happen in college, or even if they end up "going pro", so his kid better get used to it quickly. Most '03 Revs kids are clamoring to play with the '02/'01 team, so shouldn't be whining when playing a team with one or two '02s on the roster. My kid plays DA, and there are kids with almost every club he's played against that "look" like they are too old for their age group. Whether they are or not, a player at the DA level should be welcoming such challenges. If they can't handle it, I think NPL has a hard rule of not allowing kids to play down.

Yes it is allowed but the allowance is intended for younger, smaller players, not older average to larger than average players. If he's a winter 02 that shows the Revs care more about results than anything else. Contrast that vs NYCFC 18/19 played with 8+ 01s and 02s and spanked Oakwood 7- playing with all 99s/00s. Players should be playing up to be challenged

This is way off base. The rule is designed for smaller/less developed players at the younger ages. That is exactly what they did with this one kid who played a couple times last season. Take a look at the rosters this coming weekend and you will see many younger players. Bolts and Seacoast have been doing it on a consistent basis with larger and on the older side for almost every game. Not a big deal at the younger ages.

Not off base at all as you just confirmed. It shouldn't be happening with larger, older high school aged players.

Sounds like it’s an ok idea, IF the clubs wouldn’t abuse the rule. A smaller sized player “playing down” because they see potential going forward, seems reasonable. Putting an older big player in to help a team win or “just because”, seems unreasonable.
