They'd get out of DA in a heartbeat if they could - or they'd charge $5,000 if they could too. But their lack of interest in the first team is baffling. Yes Boston is a big 4 sports town, but there can be a place for soccer too.

I believe that they are trying to humiliate the MLS. They are one of the original/founding organizations and it is a bad look for them to be this horribly uninterested. They don't even carry a full roster for the first team. They use no more money than is allocuted to them from them MLS to run this team. It is disgraceful.

Part of me is thinking, wow what a mess Revs DA is... the other part is thinking... is it really that bad or are these posts from a few disgruntled parents and/or people hoping and praying that people read these threads and stay away which will allow for their kid to make the team or stay on the team. Lol.

U15's barely win against low level competition at their home turf :(

Barely hanging on for a 3-2 win vs NYSC is problematic. The game got away from the Revs. NYSC had gained control and the Revs were panicking. In the final minute the keeper and a midfielder were carded for wasting time. Not exactly a league leading type of performance vs. a cellar dweller.

No they're bad. Performance is bad. Morale is bad. Player development, identification and retention, all bad. They skirt DA regs on top of it all (no u12, practices only 3x per week). A MLS club in a large metro area should be dominant and they are anything but. In fact being free MLS is the one thing saving their azz and keeping them from being in the basement.
