Why moronic? The biggest problem with the revs, bolts etc is that they are simply a collection of Hessians with no commonality. They care more about their own stats - goals, assists, minutes, starts, saves, whatever, than they do about wins/or losses. Even worse, that's the appropriate signal given how everyone else behaves.

High school teams play for each other and their school. Revs/Bolts are neither professionals (despite what the parents think) nor are they playing for a common cause. Seacoast is a possible exception due to "underdog" status.

I bet you money that if you took the top older (age specific) players from the top 4 high school teams in the state, they would beat the Revs/Bolts 75% of the time. Zero doubt.

Not according to BC, Penn, BYU, Bucknell, Columbia, Brandeis, Colby, Tufts, etc.

But you just said it was about playing together for each other.

Why would your team of newly assembled Hessians from the top 4 teams play better than Hessians that play with each other year round?

        Logic gap?

It's an NEFC dad with an inflated sense of his son's abilities. Just let it go.

            ...
this then contradicts they are poor on development as that is what individual focus would emphasize.

The Revs had lackluster commits this year. What will happen to this team? It may be the worst class ever.

Who cares? They U17 team was slaughtered in Oct, they recruited all winter, got a new Brazilian coach, practiced more, left seasoned players at home who were considered not keeping up, and were slaughtered even worse in Feb. Who is running this clown show for real? Is this Scales? Doesn't the new coach have any skills in choosing players or coaching them to win? Or was he overridden by Scales? What in gods name is going on there??

Not even close. You must not have a son in the DAP.

If your kid is on this team and you/ he doesn’t like it just leave. If he is on a different team, why do you care so much? You realize it is kinda weird right?

Yes, the #NERevs U-17 team got embarrassed at #GACup qualifiers, but impossible to fully ascertain the reasons on Twitter.

Prep schools + dilution of the talent pool in Greater Boston and Hartford areas + retention all present challenges. Incredibly complex situation. #MLS
