Oh please. Being chosen does not that same as competition. And many chosen get unchosen when the Revs figure out that they don't have nearly the skill or size to be real prospects.

Point still being the Revs don't care about development, period. They put the minimal effort towards DA to satisfy USSF and that is it. They can't even do a good job developing the few they do seem to care about. Laziness and incompetence is not a good combination.

There's an expression about pots and kettles that seems apt here. If the guy's kid is happy, you care because?

Thank you! My kid is very happy at the Revs, he likes his teammates, the coaches and playing in DA. It is one of the best things that has ever happened to him. It may not last but we are enjoying it right now.

Another expression fits: This too shall pass

Man you care a lot about someone else's kid. Or are you one of those that puts down others to make you feel better about your own?

                    Seacoast vs Revs?

Poster is pointing out that many Revs parents become disillusioned with the Revs in good time. Hence this thread and many others over the years

The ones who become disillusioned do not play, are cut, or are just there to fill a roster. That's true at every other club, too.

Delusional parents are everywhere and at every level. Typically at the younger ages. It’s not just at the Revs believe me. Matter of fact it’s lower at the Revs for the most part.
I’ve had a kid at Bolts, GPS, NEFC and have seen crazy at each club.

I agree, the Revs sidelines are more relaxed than most town teams. The parents are a more diverse group, so don’t reinforce eachother’s craziness.

Yeah, it is a good cross section of NE. Relatively harmonious.

How many more clubs will your son play at?
