Does Scales know? EU players start to differentiate about age 13 and 14, depending on country, from US because that's when they get serious about training. At the Revs, 4 hrs per week ain't going to make anyone better. Your kid may 'thrive' in Revs fashion and get an 'opportunity' but he'll never develop even close to a EU academy player.

Scales thinks it's OK to miss a year sitting on bench waiting your turn because it's a 'process'. They focus on only a few kids at a time and if your kid doesn't get into this sick rotation, well, there goes a year. But he can still thrive Revs style.

What is really puzzling is why aren't former Revolution players (who reside in the area) like Shalrie, Andy Dorman and Jeff Causey not coaching the Academy boys? Who the F is Bryan Scales anyway? What are his sorry ass credentials? Does he have pics of Mike Burns with sheep or something?
