Hard coaches that are "strategic" are the norm. A good coach can be tough, clear, concise, and confident in training and managing the team, but if their moral compass is off, that is unacceptable in any sport.

And...I'd take a tough confident coach (with strong values) over the kind that are fake and nice hypocrites and treat players like cwap in passive/aggressive ways. When you come across a coach like this, others are like "he is so nice", so you feel like a loner when they pull their creep card. Eventually everyone figures them out, but you might be already burned.
