Didn't the kid spend the better part of the past two years at Residency in Florida? Did the Revs boot him or did JH?

Watched the U14 Bolts beat the Revs yesterday. That coach should be ashamed of himself. A year together and those players can't complete 2 passes.

Jay Heaps? Is that who you mean? Heaps doesn't know or has ever met a single Academy player. You're assuming it's a legitimate pro soccer youth Academy, you're wrong.

Oh really? Disgruntled Dad whose kid didn't get an offer, perhaps?

Thats right yes and extremely bitter at the entire team. My son deserves to be with those crappy players and coaches. They still couldn't complete two passes though.

Or put one in the net. The me, me, me players were in full force yesterday but still not good enough to be game changers. Midfielders or forwards, just a hot mess all around.

The "14" in the Revs U14 team represents their soccer IQ.

The team runs around aimlessly like they have autism. So sad to watch, I thought I was watching a special needs charity game.

That's a bit harsh - funny, but harsh. Not the kids' fault the coaching is what it is. Blame the coaching, and probably more than a few parents who pushed their kids into the program knowing full well the club has issues.

That's what the OP said - the coach was the issue. There are enough good players that with proper coaching they could play well together. It's really a shame that this academy has the best players and shames most of them into thinking they're worthless scum. Congrats Revs.

The U13 center back playing up is one to watch.
