Cutthroat you say? You do realize it ain't Ajax or La Masia over there at 1 Patriot Place. Demelo, Resendes and Pereira are all former public school assistant high school coaches. God knows what Charris did or if he even played at all. They have no idea what they're doing. The Dean College open training allowed us to really see how third rate the coaching is. We had always suspected it though. It's beyond comical.

Shouldn't have expected DAP to be a bed of roses. Bottom line like any academy worldwide, kids are disposable

Now that being said you should expect great coaching in academy. However, it's the Revs and that was widely known

An alibi on an anonymous forum? Right.

Versus a big, strong, fast and physical player who for the hell of his life can't control the ball even though it was perfectly weighted ball pass to his feet. I forgot Revs prohibits his father from yelling "send it" and "kick it to him". Although it mostly resembles how the Revs play half of the time.

The bottom line is until the Revs hire qualified coaching staff things will stay the same and praying that the results will be different.

That doesn't mean academies need to be run by ignorant *****s.

Most clubs are run by ignorant people. The better point is their quality

You forgot to mention not playing defense also.

In an already fragmented New England youth soccer landscape with its myriad of leagues and pay to play clubs, does being free and MLS affiliated, allow certain liberties and entitlements to the manner in which they relate to the involved players and parents? Does being fully funded mean the Revolution Youth Academy coaches and staff do not have to communicate somewhat regularly with players in terms of development progressions? Does being free mean that parents are completely shut out of their respective son's long term projections and are just basically reduced to blood line Uber drivers? Does being free means you can subject the kids to gossip, innuendo and rumors constantly pitting one against the other by feeding them bits of information that permeates to an already unstable and ultra competitive environment and culture? Does being free means we allow our offspring to be exploited by a tyrannical Director that says whatever comes to his mouth without any forethought or compassion? My son was a New England Revolution fan and aspired one day to play for the local professional soccer team. His first season with the Academy is drawing to a close and I can tell you with certainty that he has grown to despise everything the Revs stand for and has lost interest in the sport of soccer. I also can tell you that many of his teammates share the same feelings. He is not in the minority. I hugely regret the day we accepted their offer to join their organization.
blood line Uber drivers, haha! Yes, that's all you are.

Well, then correct their behavior. Although, this is what the Revs seem to like. They are not doing these players any favors besides giving them so much playing time that the bad habits become so reinforced that they can't execute anything else.

The season is not over. May 28th is the end, right?

Overdribblers who lose the ball- big and fast or small and slow. Doesn't matter. All the players are doing it. I am losing my mind watching the utter chaos on the field.

This is coming from USS, an over-reaction to the big and fast mentality that dominated for too long. The current mantra: is he a tiny ball hog who does step overs and can't play defense?

                              Caveat:

**Unless you are of African descent and are a center back or forward. Then its OK to be strong, fast and have no footskills.

And sometimes not even all that strong or all that fast.
