Will all of you just STFU about this. Those of you with kids on the team great, but if you don't like it quit. Those of you who don't have kids on the team why are you even commenting?

on another bleak Revs notes, article about MLS clubs "finding their identities. It had this to say about the Revs
Blue Collar Clubs
Teams that otherwise spurned a more holistic strategy in favor of thriftiness; each is comprised entirely of players under the million-dollar threshold
New England Revolution
Houston Dynamo
San Jose Earthquakes
D.C. United
As for D.C. United and New England, the future looks considerably bleaker. DCU seems to be in a destructive holding pattern until the new stadium opens, but the fact that management has done little to boost the team’s overall technical level until that time (and to pay someone more than $600K) doesn’t speak well to its commitment. New England might be in the worst place of all. The Krafts seem to care little about the Revs as a product, and until infused with significantly more buying power on the open market and their own stadium, the soccer guys on the ground will continue to bear the brunt of the neglect.

If your team is weak as a whole, they look at how YOU play . For example, if you're a forward and score a lot of goals while playing for a weak team that's huge. If you play for FC Dallas it's a lot easier to score goals ( many more chances).
If you're a defender you'll get a lot of action - they will want to see how YOU defend and work with your teammates and how you handle disappointment.
Seacoast is going thru a shakeup with its new academy director on board. Lots of positive changes coming next season. Many cuts were made already for next year. They are building a huge indoor complex in Epping. Lots of training and recruiting.
