MB (back playing with the U14's) was back to his bad boy self. Yellow carded for dissent for telling an Oakwood parent to shut the fvck up. In MB's defense, the Oakwood parent (in dark blue jacket) was harassing him all game long.

Oakwood parents are notorious for obnoxious behavior.

Why are you obsessed with this player? Leave the kid alone and worry about your own.

Good for MB. Doesn't take sh*t from anybody. Worth the card if you ask me.

Don't even know who MB is, but if it was that bad, I hope the parent was asked to leave the game. He's a kid. That adult should be ashamed of himself.

He has an entire youth soccer career of being the most hated kid on the field, both by opposing players and parents. A great team mate though.

At one point the Oakwood man told him to " try that again, #4". (after a perceived hard tackle). That's clear cut intimidation by an adult.

"Hated" by opposing teams because he typically burns you for 3,4 goals and plays a very physical style. But tends to break the rules of on field silence with the officials. Constantly engages with them.

sugarcoating the fact that he's a hothead.

There's only one way to deal with a kid with a "very physical style." He'll get his eventually, but from an age appropriate person and not some psycho dad.

All this tells me is that the Revs must have lost. Score?

Different poster who agreed with your comment completely until I saw the kid wind up and throw an elbow at a player's head who wasn't near the ball and had no reason to know it was coming. Went down in a heap and could have been very hurt (he did have to leave the game). Player has been taught some bad things which have obviously gone on for awhile and is obviously still surrounded by enablers.

That said, any parent that is directly threatening or harassing a 14 year has some serious issues (likely the type of parent the kid will grow up to be) as does anyone (obviously including the ref) who stood there silent and let him do it.

OW parents can be pretty bad. But kids have to learn to control themselves as well. Clubs/coaches shouldn't tolerate bad player behavior even if the kid is a stud (which I'm not debating either way)
