Seems to me that the 2017 Revs placements were impressive- fairly many high-level, non-local, D1 programs (which likely would not have happened without DA). If that was the goal for those kids, it would appear that things worked out. I would imagine those kids would say it was "worth it" (not knowing at this time how playing time at the next level will work out) given the sacrifices they made, but hard to measure what they gave up in skipping HS soccer.

Different poster but I remembered the Revs list not being that solid last year. Obviously the Bolts graduated a huge number; not sure why Seascoast wasn't on the list I saw from the 2016 but I know it gets changed/this isn't complete.

What I find more interesting is many times I'd see below - DA players at the same schools as non DA. That's where the need for DA for certain players is placed into doubt. Are you going to get a spot at UVA without DA? Probably not. But others? Clearly you can

Anyone have a list showing minutes played by former Revs players that just played their freshman year of college ball? Even just a couple of players.

Dartmouth is ranked #36 on HeroSports.com. Does that qualify for "high D1 AND decent academic school"? What about Harvard (not out of state, but ranked #23)?

Dartmouth and Harvard are too local . The idea put forth is that the revs sends the most players to high D1 non local schools. Well that's true but the academics of those schools leave a lot to be desired.
