How often are the other local DAP teams practicing, are they actually doing the required 4 days/week? Are there any non-DAP teams that are practicing that much? Perhaps there are, but if not, being at the Revs won't necessarily put you behind due to less practice time if you want to stay local.

Revs don't play "local" teams. They play other DA teams. Given their less than consistent performance and considering the talent draw an MLS team should have I'd posit that practicing less is hurting them to some degree. A key tenant of DA is more practices, fewer games.

The boys push each other in practice in a way that can't happen at other clubs. The quality is clearly higher given that the top players on all the other teams in the Boston area were scouted but not selected by the Revs. If they work hard they may make it next year. Nobody refuses the (free) opportunity to play with the Revs Academy.

My point was that if the Revs' policy is to only practice three days/week, if you want to stay at a local DAP (i.e. not commute to a DAP in CT or NY), there may not be any better options (clubs practicing more than 3x/week).

This is a fallacy. Only a Rev parent would buy this hogwash the coaches feed them.

Which is why kids from other DAs will push ahead.

Only a fallacy to those not part of it. Kinda like the creative news today.
Top players get together on their own over vacations because they create high level challenges as in most of the games. Others do the same old thing that's gotten them nowhere and continue to complain on TS. Know the definition for stupid

This is the problem for U15 and up.

What you don't realize is that the top Revs players in fact practice 4 days a week in a 10 month schedule. You don't know this because you son is not part of this group.

Our players practice 12 days a week in a 14 month schedule.

Top players get together on their own because their coaches are on vacation. That's such an awesome arrangement. Define top player by the way. At 1st class DA clubs the coaches are available more than the players so everyone can be trained to their full potential. You poor Revs parents.

It makes no sense for you to continually throw your man-child temper tantrums here. Better off planning your move. Kraft is at Mar a Lago and his team is #1 for decades. Revs are not changing so you need to.
