That tells you where your coveted 'npl' teams are at ( I believe GPS and nefcu 17s are the number one and two teams in the state)

And I will add for good measure, did anyone see who the revolution first team lost to last night? Is the best development that the New England region has to offer? My biggest point is that there's nothing too good going on anywhere in United States soccer.
At any pro levels the margin are very thin. On any given day a team from a good 2nd Division can beat a top Division team. Have you ever watch the FA Cup? Teams from the Championship League regularly beat up on mid to lower Premiership teams. In fact, once in a while even to mighty clubs falls.

Not exactly news. They also allow 'defenders' to play on the team who cannot defend. Baffling.

It all sucks. It's really not that difficult to fix either.

They pigeon hole players too young, too much, and too easily.

Again, not news. Did you do any research on the Revs before you signed him up?

You're not a holding mid Timmy, you're a left back.

Wow, Timmy is having a tough time at left back.

              Let's cut Timmy.

              Development.

They definitely should cut Flu ... Timmy.

More like they make players defenders who are much better midfielders.

If you can’t competently play every position on the field (save keeper) at the U13-U15 age groups, trust me, you’re probably not going to be able to play DA at the older ages, much less at a top D1 school. NPL/private school is probably a better route in this case.

That ship sailed a long, long time ago. Find an NPL team willing to hide him in the back.

Those two players (and others) still insist on listing the New England Revolution as their club team in their TDS profiles. What is it going to take to change it? A call to them? I will do it.
Please change it to Global Premier Sucker.

Go get ready for work and stop going at those ex-Revs. They want to show collegiate coaches that they made a pit stop there back in the day. 0 integrity though.

More former Revs coming after the June Academy Showcase. Brace yourself.

They do that because any worthwhile program from U14 up plays the ball out of the back. Solid defenders historically have been tough and have size, pace, and athleticism, but do not have necessarily have the skills to carry the play forward into the attack.

It's a smart move, although you may not like it. Perhaps your son is deeper in the depth chart at mid, and they still want to give him pt and opportunities in another position.

One of the single most valuable players on the field is the defender who can score goals.

                              #Revs = Professionals

Very true, defenders who can score are very valuable and essential in the modern game. Great defenders are fast, great foot skills and have the field vision to setup a play. Good midfielders from the younger age groups often make great defenders, win games and get noticed by D1 coaches.
