Right, it's not like the training at the Revs Academy is top notch. Keep in mind, it's Demelo, Charris , and Ouckama. They totally suck.

Don't forget the one at the helm, Bryan Scales, a perennial loser of epic proportions. Never seen such a clueless and incompetent soccer coach/director in my life!

Get that ridiculous notion out of your head. The Krafts don't give a sh*it. Look how Robert Kraft is treating Belichik. He's a moron.

Or they've decided giving up HS for the Revs just isn't worth it. Many players land good - not great but good - spots doing HS and high level club. It's not like Revs placements are tremendous and some players aren't even playing in college.

Only way that happens is if Kraft sells it. He doesn't want to spend a dime more than the bare minimum on the pro team as it is, let alone DA which doesn't earn him a penny.

Most land in D1. 1% pro. Rest can play D2 or 3 if they so choose. All have the ability to play in college it’s just a matter if they so choose.

Have you looked at the 2018 commits thread? The Revs are fairing quite poorly in relation to the Bolts, GPS and NEFC.

If you're aiming for lower level D1 (which is where many Revs players end up) or D2/D3 no need to give up HS and do the Revs. The Revs 1% pro? lol over the last ten years how many Revs players have gone pro out of the hundreds they've trained? How many have had successful careers at it? Play for a good club with good coaching that does showcases and ENJOY high school (even when the soccer isn't good it's still mostly fun - YOLO). If you want top D1 and have a chance at reaching that, go for it

Which they use to pay for DA. Most pro clubs operate that way. Red Bulls have an extensive RDS and camp program. They also spend more on their DA program. Coincidence? No.

You need to remember the Revs only have one team eligible to move up to college versus Bolts, GPS etc. at least 4 graduates now signed with the 1st team. That’s probably closer to 2% actually. Not counting any that have made it eslsewhere. There have been plenty playing at top D1 also. Just take a look at this years college final 4.

nope- only looking at Bolts U19 DA - many more from that team vs the revs U19 going D1
                          9 vs 2

even Seacoast has 5 going D1 (some are not from MA so it's not in the MA 2018 commitments thread)

re: going pro: you are correct - numbers since 2007 (start of DA) = approx 2%

Are all of those 9 from Bolts DAP team? Granted this is an off year for the older ReVs teams but historically they have sent many more than any other single team.

Sorry to say this, but all of them know deep down that they weren’t good enough for an MLS Academy. Just sayin.
