My kid loves it at the Revs. It is his thing, he earned the free training, the free flights and the free uniform. No parents involved. Beautiful. Sucks for the parents, but great for the kids. His self-confidence has grown massively.

Surely most parents hope their kids never get cut from anything. It's the lack of control that makes the Revs parents crazy. Totally understandable and can only be fixed by parents remembering that getting mad, particularly on TS, will never have any effect on the Revs.

His dad still believes he'll play for Porto or Benfica one day. Astonishing. Will be back without even a high school diploma and trying to play catch up. What some parents do to their kids is unreal.
