There is a good reason Revs and USSF and other high calibre organizations in other sports use +/- field time calibrations for evaluations. It allows for a more sophisticated and nuanced determination of a player's skill set over time. While perhaps not noticeable to the amateur eye, over time the smaller less noticeable clever and creative contributions begin to add up and permit more rounded and thorough performance tracking. It is the way of the future. Listen and learn.

It seems that they are only tracking goals scored. And in a case where a player plays one position the entire season (say center back), how are they to track anything?
