Because you're right - a few hours of practices, no matter how good they are, isn't enough. But don't force it - he has to want it
We just received an email from Revs saying no extra futsal activities. I saw Revs players last year at many futsal events.

Witnessed this. Some of your players don't touch the ball for 10 min because the only pass is back to the goalie. The offensive line is just standing there. When do they get the ball, they also pass it back or try to dribble through 5 defenders. Very few crosses or balls into the box. Midfielders not executing game control. Your team is not playing like a team. If they were, they would be dominating Oakwood with quick passes through the middle and a 5-0 final score.

God forbid they do anything but that top notch 2-3 times a week Revs training. Touching the ball outside of the purview of the Revs coaching staff will surely ruin them.

Nail on the head. They have some very talented strikers that never get the ball. Forward play through the midfield just isn't there. Not fast enough and too afraid to give the ball away. The strikers are obviously not the focus. Building from the back is great if you can actually go forward at some point. I get it....they probably have 15 kids that are used to being central midfielders so this will take time. Try to find a player that can go forward in the attack through the midfield!

this is not a Revs rule but a DAP rule.

You don't have to be a soccer Einstein to know they have them on the team, they are just not using them.

No question. Why aren't they is the question?

It's a rule that is 1) absurd 2) would be less absurd if Revs training was a consistent 4 times per week as mandated by USSF 3) often violated but with no repercussions, especially for the annointed ones

Either they have a master plan that will take years to gloriously unfold, or the opposite.

They've been in DA for how long? Is it a 25 year "player development" plan? if not them I'm going with the latter.

WIDE open players in the wings and midfield but yet the ball goes back in PANIC every 2 minutes!

                              Private school soccer. Expensive
Club soccer- this is not really a good option after U14. But you can pay for play on off season.
Of course, this is backwards. The top level team on any of the major clubs will be better than any public HS team and almost all of the private school teams.

Yeh anointed one does not know how to play in the midfield - out of position 90% of game.

Since he is never ever subbed- you are stuck in perpetual dysfunction. Fun to watch though! 😄
