Fun? Of course it's fun. I love sending invisible daggers across the field to the coach who never plays my kid and plotting whose tires I should deflate in the parking lot. I'm also counting all the money I'll save with that full D1 scholarship my kid will get

Its only been a month for the newbies- relax, if your kid is good, the coaches will figure it out. If he isn't, they'll figure that out too. Yes, they have some preordained favorites, but so what? Your kid is playing in the academy! Have fun!

My kid is having more fun at the Revs than ever before. More than any of his previous clubs, town soccer etc. The boys are so obviously proud to be a small part of an MLS organization, it is great to see.

Just read over on the Bolts thread an assertion that the Revs will be turning their younger academy kids into robots as they progress through the system. Wondering if new Revs u13/U14 players coming from clubs that valued creativity (e.g. Valeo) feel like they are not being allowed to play creatively in the Revs system. Any thoughts so far?

Wondering if new Revs u13/U14 players coming from clubs that valued creativity (e.g. Valeo) feel like they are not being allowed to play creatively in the Revs system. Any thoughts so far?

One of the Valeo parents posted about lack of "creativity" after the first practice. Shocking!

What do you mean about the amount of Revs gear? They wear the required uniform (think Breakfast Club- not tights but you know)

TDS needs clubs to provide information to them, that's why it is far from complete. Especially with boys, who commit later, I wouldn't expect a list to be more accurate for a few more months yet. Clubs also need parents to provide info - not surprisingly some parents don't want the info out there, or at least don't want it out any more than necessary. Spend 2 seconds on this site and you understand why

This is pretty accurate on the girls side but I haven't seen anything similar for the boys.
