The DAP has a fluidity of communication with US Soccer and college coaches and programs. If a high school senior led the MIAA in assists or in shots on goals, does not even make a single solitary bit of difference in their eyes. High school soccer players and parents have to roll up their sleeves and solicit interest in their junior years through emails, film and the like and it will be targeted to D2/D3 schools primarily and they better have solid SAT/GPA. D1 coaches knock on DAP players doors, different ball game altogether.

Parents of younger NEFC players have moved them DAP and they are smart to have done so. If your son is young, taking a snapshot now of 2016 signings and guiding your decision based on that is not very forward looking.
