Revs defender, aren't you embarrassed the Whitecaps, TFC and Impact all have surpassed the Revs in youth Academy facilities and development? The Revs CANNOT beat the Impact's U16 and U18 teams in absolutely any game! These are all Canadian entries, where hockey is their primary sport. You guys suck big time, couldn't run a popsicle stand.

Just an FYI before you post next time.

Revs U16 team beat Montreal 3-1 and 5-1 respectively the last two times they played.

More kids in Canada play soccer than hockey dope.

Inaccurate, Vancouver nor Toronto have residency for their youth players nor do they play in the USSDA. Montreal has built a great facility called Centre Nutrilait and have somewhat of a residency program with a few select high schools. It's called Sport Etudes. They have not surpassed the Revolution academy program as you put it. in any way shape of form.

              U18? How did that go?

I believe Vancouver provides transportation to kids who need it. That can also be a big hurdle for some players

                  Spot on.

International exposure and training is the only way any US player will be able to advance. The talent is most obviously overseas. Why not have Revs DA to Sporting?

Gillette/Kraft need competition. His #1 son is patriots. No problem. Area ripe for competition. C'mob John Henry.

99% of academies prep either residential or during the last 2 weeks in August. Pretty sure the training , access and field time are all less for the Revs than other academies, including the 2 in MA doing full day training this week.

Last but not least - 80% of the kids at the revs are from wealthy suburbs heading for college with Revs resumes to boost their acceptances. Perhaps 20% have pro dreams - and only a few of those have the talent (without the experience necessary). Major reason no pros produced.

What I don't get is the whole sleep thing. If the Revs and other local academy times just insisted on 24 hour a day practices, imagine how far ahead of the competition they would be.

But it would still need to be in Europe. Or a "favella".
