That guy has never looked like he's enjoying his job one bit since he's arrived here. He's been given 3rd rate players, no viable DP's and a goalkeeper that couldn't make a JV high school team, and playing in that ****hole of a stadium on NFL turf. I thought my job sucked!!

Playing career? Are u kidding? Because he was an American collegiate and MLS player and and a few national caps makes him an instant GM of a professional soccer club? The guy, along with Billelo are under the thumb of the Kraft father and son tandem. They are professionally insignificant and have absolute no autonomy. What makes it worse is that the ownership father and son team have no clue about the sport. The Revolution need a sporting director with solid, established, International contacts. That group the Kraft Sports group has assembled for the Revs are inept and unqualified to run a professional soccer team. As far as their academy program goes, I would say the exact same thing. It's amateur hour over there at Gillette folks.

Here we go, on Monday morning, I'd sack Billelo, Burns, Heaps and Scales (Youth Academy Director). Put Soehn as an interim and bring in Landon Donovan to start picking his management team. Robert and Jonathan Kraft are the only ones who can accomplish this.

Well, the overall success of the New England Revolution program stems from first team results. I realize the ideal mix of players on any MLS team are a domestic and foreign component but 3 measly homegrown signings in 10 years?? The point is that the Academy program is not working and not translating into players onto the first team. FC Dallas leads all MLS teams with homegrown signings and the Philadelphia Union and LA Galaxy have built "real" Academy program with an academic boarding piece for young players. The Revs remain stagnant and the status quo is alive and well in Foxboro. Shame on the Krafts, they are destroying a potentially huge soccer market in Boston.

The Krafts are cheap bastards still trying to wrangle tax payer dollars for a soccer stadium. Let's not forget how he held this city hostage with the Patriots. When the owner doesn't care about the professional team what are the odds any effort is going to be made for the youth squads? They don't want to add the 12s and continually skirt DA rules. They put in the minimal effort required by the league. The Revs are fortunate in that they're the only MLS team in a broad area and the non MLS clubs nearby are not very strong (and not free). As a result the Revs generally get the best talent. But what they do with it is pitiful.

The amazing thing is that Fagundez, and Caldwell did not start with the Revs until U16. I also think the great soccer genius Jay Heaps hates Zach Herivaux. Heaps has the soccer capacity equivalent of a pimple on a Jose Mourinho or an Antonio Conte's asses.

You obviously haven't seen the list of colleges the residential kids are attending. Some of these programs are very strong, comparable to top boarding schools in the Northeast.
