Originally posted by Unregistered View PostHaha. Typical newbie. I was laughing inside. Yeah he can talk the talk pretty well. Come back in late October and tell us what you think of him then. You don't hear of any parent who knows him defending him here. Why? Our team will suck again this year. Mark my words... but I'd love to be wrong here. has he ever been successful with a bolts team? No never. What's my agenda? My son actually gets decent playing time. It's not about that. Simply to call him out and make him really work ( not just his BS talk ) for the benefit of the entire team. This team is capable of making the playoffs. I fear that MK is going to give his usual half assed commitment and with his own crooked agenda and the team will give a mediocre performance as a result ( and he will tell them that they failed - not "we failed" but the team failed - because it's never his fault). I'm done here. You won't see me back for a while. I think I've said what I need to say.

Academy play is much faster than club play. Huge difference.
Sad but true. Happened every year on the roster.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostAcademy, especially MLS, have no reason to accept "weak" players. The weakest players allowed on the squad come from self-important, "influence wielding" outside influences sticking their noses into the decision making for their own benefit. The criticism comes then from the irate parents whose kids are let go in the very near future for not being able to keep up. The difference in quality shows immediately.
Sad but true. Happened every year on the roster.

Kraft Sports Group/UMass Boston
The old Bayside Expo site to become new soccer specific stadium and the Calf Pasture Pump Station (about a half mile away) to become a state of the art Revs training and Academy facility. I hear it's a done deal.
