Let me get this right. DA is the best in the US, but it still isn't good, but you follow soccer on TS? Sounds normal.

      Yeh
The Revs academy is currently the highest level. Congrats to the players that made the teams.

In the US MLS is the D1 of soccer
        Their academies are D1.

But the MLS product (1st team and academy) are behind the rest of the world.

        That's not hating, that's a fact.

A hill that your son was unable to climb?

In one recent ranking (totalsportek.com), MLS is the #10 league in the world. It seems that progress is being made.

Most of its stars are either internationals or "US" players who were developed overseas.

Most of those international stars are in their twilight years approaching retirement. MLS is like going out to pasture. When we start seeing 1) large numbers of our players going overseas to play and 2) young international stars coming here to play then I'd say we're making progress

lol we're #31 according to FIFA. You can always find a data point to fit your narrative. The only improvements we've made is to make it out of the first round in the last WC. woot woot!

Robert Kraft/Michael Dell Something big in the works

Now that Michael Dell has moved to Boston after his EMC acquisition, look for the Kraft/Dell tandem to build a soccer stadium in Boston. Their UFC minority purchase is just the beginning of a powerhouse arrangement and collaboration. They are close friends and this could be the start of a major sports ownership group.
