We get the fact that these Revs kids are at everyone's mercy for criticism but for God's sake , isn't he just 14 years old? Give the kid time to develop and mature and we'll see how far he goes. Granted he had somewhat of a bad reputation when he was at GPS, but cut him some slack. Hear he's an outstanding player.

So let me get this straight. Most of the Valeo trained kids did not make the revolution. One of the kids was trained by another coach besides EW because he played with his sister.

My theory would be a ticked off parent with a player on an older Revs team who see's the U14's when they bring their son to games.

I don't know. I have a 03' and I have been listening to dads talk about how the revs are looking at their kid and they can wait to get their hooks in their kid. Their sons have been saying the same things. I'll be curious to go and watch a u14 game is convenient to see which players the revs selected and how they look. I've been watching these kids play for years and I know who I think has the most upside to my untrained eye. I think 1 game would be fun to go to and watch.

I'm not the poster you responded to and I largely agree with you. I would just make a blanket statement that if my son ever wound up with an elbow, off the ball, and nailed another player in the head dropping him in a heap, I would not wait for the officials or the coach. I would yank him off the field and he wouldn't see it again for awhile. And I'd give serious contemplation as to how he learned such behavior.
