Any athletic system, especially a high level one, is going to have collateral damage and those are the risks you take entering such a system

Realistically kids change a great deal through puberty and plateau. Some kids lose interest. On the other side kids with great potential will benefit with better training at the younger ages.

Newcastle already knew they were being relegated. They also played with only 10 men after a red card in the middle of the second half.
Tottenham was vying for second place, and a finish above their North London rivals, Arsenal, for the first time in 20+ years.
What exactly are you intimating about an isolated 4 goal loss again?

Skip HS soccer, miss out on your high school experience both on the field and in the classrooom, for what??? To live your teenage years in a car going back and forth?? Really???
My guess is most kids will look back and regret their decision to play for the Revs.
If you really have talent, you will be seen in HS and in club soccer and have a chance to play D-1 and further.
