Having kids with ample technical skill level to make the revs means they can now work on strategy. This will mean limiting their very childish over dribbling in games especially when consistently losing the ball. They need to work on strategic passing, give and go, crossing, switching the field.
Save the flair for exercises, not compromise for the team.

Once again, you would have seen Revs coaching and development on display. The Montreal team played from the back and through the midfield controlling the ball. They patiently worked the ball up the field and took advantage of Rev players pressing too high and also Revs players inability to hold the ball. For some reason the two Canadian academies are producing players and playing a style that one would expect from academies like the Revs. The Rev team tried playing over the top but had no ability to actually hold and move the ball down the field. After 4 years of training / playing this is pathetic.

Not robotic, safe soccer. Which is all too often the "style".
Often US players have the ball at their feet more when in middle school, and then switch to a few 1.5 hour practices 8 or 9 months a year. So safe soccer is all the kids or coaches feel comfortable playing. This attitude has to change if we want our best players to truly play high level soccer.

I am not saying "ball hogging", but when they have a single player to beat and doing so will open up the attack this should still be encouraged.

How any kid decides to play for the Revs that doesn't live under and hour from facility is beyond me.
Skip HS soccer, miss out on your high school experience both on the field and in the classrooom, for what??? To live your teenage years in a car going back and forth?? Really???
My guess is most kids will look back and regret their decision to play for the Revs.
If you really have talent, you will be seen in HS and in club soccer and have a chance to play D-1 and further.

Looking at the scores, Revs also recently lost to Seacoast and the Bolts.
Seems that would corroborate criticism of Revs development.
Revs apologists?
