Not at all true. I am proud my son is playing DAP but I have always said there are multiple ways to play div. 1 soccer. Including HS soccer. Whatever works for you and your kid is good.
I was responding to the guy who doesn't take into consideration the percentages. There are only 2 DAP clubs in MA but many div. 1 colleges. So, if let's say 5 kids from DAP from MA make a div.1 roster/year it is a very large percentage.

Milton/GPS? As evidenced by the D1 commits, more Revs players committed to D1 schools than any other. Yes, there have been a couple of Milton players who have gone on to college. Levee (Maryland), Ozor (BC) but you wonder if they have both been aided because of their foreign origins. I mean let's face it, Luca Levee was a fairly decent midfielder but I don't think he would have been as dominant in the USSDA. In fact, I'm certain that he wouldn't have. Davock wasn't even a starter with the Revs and Steeves was over hyped in public school. Decent athletes but certainly not NT material or even MLS prospects and I really don't care about the Jamaican national team nonsense with Levee. Meaningless appointment from a insignificant nation.

Felix DeBona had aspirations of playing in Europe. (poorly advised) and he fell flat on his face. He's been insignificant in college.

AST is another victim of delusional parents and/or advisers. At some point the rose colored glasses must be removed. He's no Pulisic, not even remotely close, but hey, he'll find out soon enough.

And Fagundez has been insignificant in MLS.

Nice try. The argument essentially is about high school/club (in the spring) vs DAP ( year round )
There are essentially only two non-dap boys clubs in MA sending players to D1 schools- GPS and NEFC

So the comparison (for boys) should be Bolts/Revs DAP vs GPS/NEFC

This is a mean and low-brow attack on a minor . You should be ashamed of yourself - hiding anonymously and trashing kids.

First of all he is following his dreams. Did you? If it doesn't work out so what? What does he lose -a year of high school? Spending a year in a Europe on the cheap is not a bad deal too.

You must be an insanely jealous pathetic cretin.

Oh and pulisic is a forward not a CM - apples and oranges .

You left out the two Milton freshmen on the Harvard roster. Ivy, but still technically D1.

Never consider Ivy League soccer as viable programs.

Are you serious? Viable for what? Some of these "D1 or unviable" clowns should walk around with red noses and big floppy feet.
