Great point again look at several of the MSL academy play against league mx teams recently

Right, and the whole residency thing shouldn't be long term either. Kraft and Meehan are looking at the old Bayside Expo parcel with a possible UMass/Revs athletic facility/ soccer specific stadium as we speak. UMASS Boston can easily take in the 100 Revs academy players and offer them a high school curriculum pretty easily with housing and a soccer training component. This is a question of lack of interest and dedication by our ownership group. Plain and simple.

All excuses, deflections and damage control to defend a cheap disinterested owner by Burns and Scales in that article. After all, Kraft is their boss. Philadelphia Union got the YSC residency up and established in 4 months. The Galaxy and Salt Lake ownership group have accomplished this in less than one year. Brand new facilities and programs. The smell of BS is pungent when reading that piece on Bent Muscket.

The Governor and Mayor are already pissed at Umass Boston for their increase in International acceptances. The Revs Academy idea is actually a very good one.

Precisely, what a crock of shi* that article is. New England is the bastion of academia. How hard would it be to strike an agreement with a school that will house Revs youth players. Oh yeah, it would take $$....something our cheap owner isn't willing to do. but to give $40 million to gangbanging tight end from Urban Meyer's felon NCAA program is a good business decision. Once again, not a very smart man.

Ironically enough, $40 million is significant because that's what MLS pours into youth Academies every year, Robert Kraft handed it over to a triple murderer that they fully well knew he had serious issues. We know where his priorities lie.

No dog in the fight, just a big MLS fan, but why haven't they sent their academy players yet to Sporting's facility in Lisbon? Seems like a no-brainer. What's going on over there in Foxboro, are they all afflicted with Zika?

Once again, $$. Sporting has a full service facility with housing and full time dining. Not a big issue. It's the money aspect.

Ridiculous statement, you are an imbecile.
Of course he knows where his priorities are, the NFL makes boat loads of $. What's wrong with that? Is he supposed to place a higher priority on the Rev's than the Patriots? That's absurd!
The Rev's are a side business. If it were such a profitable venture, somebody else would have started a franchise. I don't believe there was a line at the MLS offices when they were handing out a NE franchise license.

You are obviously passionate about soccer, but your suggestion to fire everyone and get new ownership (again, who will pay the price $$$) is off the rails crazy.

Easy with the name calling. You a Kraft Sports Group exec? Listen, your beloved boss was just plain lucky with the Pats falling on his wrinkled lap. Luck struck twice when he landed Belichik. MLS asks only for a mere 5% of what other North American sports franchises do and the growth potential is immense while European soccer leagues are struggling. Hey but if your Mensa member boss wants to pis* away $40 million to a felon, good times at Foxboro. He's way over his head, Myra...RIP.

Love the "off the rails" expression, I'll find out who you are soon enough based on that. Bengston and Caraglio DP's show you are incompetent, you Revs soccer exec. Why don't you find something else to do with your life, you know shi* about soccer.
