Since you posted this I would like to see proof of Valeo teams "playing and beating most of the academy teams in the country". I will accept either MLS or non-MLS

Please do not include those from MA ME, NY, NJ or PA as I will concede you may have played and beat them at some point.

Valeo hasn't played all of the NE academy teams, much less most in the country.

Players come from all over, so fewer practices reduces the grind. But, still, it does seem that more training would be helpful.

Yes. If it were up to Revs management I think they'd prefer not to have DA at all. Their concern about developing young talent is a smidge below developing their adult professional talent.

But they are willing to spend money and bring talent into the MLS team. It's very frustrating to see them (and their DAP teams) not find better coaching when the mediocrity of their current staff is so blatantly obvious.

Huh? They have moved every semi-expensive player off of the MLS roster, and they have never made a big money ex-Euro signing.

Actually, you are supposed to use initials for adults and not refer to players under at 18 by name or initials:

lol if they did it would be some 45 year old has been. Revs owners are some of the cheapest out there. If think they don't shake up the coaching because the team does ok (not great obviously) and causes them few problems. As long as that keeps up expect things to stay the same

My serious gripe is the idolatry of the Revolution. The MLS and DAP teams have talent but the coaching and development is awful in both cases. If I lived close I would probably take the offer (provided my son truly wanted to). BUT, BUT, BUT, I would be using the team primarily as a platform to showcase my son. IOW, I would NOT be counting on the Revs to improve my son as a player. I would continue to work with him or find a talented trainer to counteract the damage that the Revs would instill. If they ever came to me and said that my son was not fully buying into their program and was too much of an individual, I would tell them it was because what they are selling as a program is stale meat and we would gladly shop elsewhere if we were not welcome.

They stagnate players who come to them with great innate talent. They pull from a population base of approx. 10 million and have what to show for it? Take off your blinders.They do not inspire and foster an environment where a player strives to be great. It's actually quite a reverse achievement to have access to so many talented players and have not ONE big name player to show for it.

I'll admit that I must be some kind of masochist because I watch the MLS team weekly hoping to see an interesting product and it's just painful to watch. You don't have to be the smartest guy to see these things, just have a mind and eyes that are open to reality.
