Sounds like a typical Revs v Seacoast match. Can't blame them, the last thing they want is a trouncing like they got against the red bulls 6-1 game. Honestly I think its a great situation to practice against.

Yup, many of the parents have taught this for years and years to their kids. Now it is too late to undo the damage. This style of play can work, if the other team is also playing the same style. But that doesn't happen in DAP games. The other teams play as a team, therefore the U16's lose.

Why would the National team or a top university want to deal with a bunch of prima donna's. They won't and then we will hear on this site, how come everyone can't see how great their kid is.

One thought, bench the kids that won't listen. You are not in the playoffs anyways, so might as well rebuild the team for next.

18s are indeed the result-of cutting all the second tier players. Twelve on the roster plus the best 16s. Short roster, happy team. Long weeding out process, these kids have made it.

18s are indeed the result-of cutting all the second tier players. Twelve on the roster plus the best 16s. Short roster, happy team. Long weeding out process, these kids have made it.

Precisely. How long have those players been in the system? I suppose it is like a pro team in that regard - keep cutting and brining new until you find what works

The result will come from dropping 75% of the current 13's for next year and bringing in new talent to help with the grooming of the chosen 25%. The 14's will only loose 40%-50%.
